Anableps have four eyes, one pair to see above the water, and another pair to see below. Hence, the Four Eyed Anablep generally swims along the surface to take advantage of both perspectives. These are peaceful fish, eat flake food, and prefer a little salt in the water. Anableps are live bearers and in the wild feed on surface insects and small fish.
