The freshwater fiddler crab is aquatic but requires a place to get out of the water from time to time. Male fiddler crabs constantly wave their large claw to attract a mate. When he is the only crab in the tank this is a sad and lonely sight. Fiddler crabs will leave fish alone and spend much of their time around rocks and other areas where food might accumulate.
