The hornwort plant is prolific in the wild all over the World and grows as a floating plant as well as a loosely anchored plant in muddy slow moving waters. Hornwort will either grow exceptionally well or will begin to fall apart within a few weeks after introduction to the aquarium. If these plants begin to fall apart simply remove them so they don't make too much of a mess and try a different plant. If they take good luck they are fast growers. Each order comes with a bunch of 5 plants and a lead weight though these plants do not need to be rooted.
